Sunday Night 11/11

Great weekend here. I got paid which is always nice. Hooray! That always feels nice for a second until you realize your money will soon be depleted anew by mortgage payments and car loans and this and that and the other thing… sigh, LIFE!

- We finished up the first big draft of the script for PROJECT X. It’s outstanding. I think we really knocked it out of the park. I want to write sequels now. And I think we accomplished making an overdone genre feel FUN again, and a unique spin or take on it. I love doing that. We’re energized and feel like we could write anything— really we’ve done an 88 page script, gone over it and gone over it, reworking and fine tuning– all in about 2-3 weeks now? It feels awesome.

-  I went ahead and ordered an actual DESK to work on. Ever since moving into the new place a year ago, Ive been using our old kitchen table as a big computer work desk because i needed more space to sprawl things out. But now I want an honest to goodnesss office desk setup like I use to have—

- Steelers beat those Browns today! Hooray! Those are the kind of games we like around here. And finally, the Steelers names are hitting the lips of the big shows…. with a 7-2 record it’s going to be hard for them to keep ignoring them. Go Stillers!
