Good morning world. I have a lot of work to do today, but before I get started, and before coffee, I like to let my brain poop out some things that are on my mind. Well at least the things I’m allowed to talk about, or that aren’t TOO personal.

- I’m really excited, and hoping like mad that I get to see the hardcover Hero By Night this week. It’s supposed to ship to shops on Wednesday (crossing my fingers!) I’ve been told by the graphic artist supreme at Platinum Studios, (Zach Pennington, aka The Logoist!) that it will look very classy, with a matte finish hardcover and double foil on the logo and the flames and such. I’m crossing my fingers that my comp copies come this week…. can’t wait to see em.

- So yeah, I’m digging the utterz.com widget. That makes doing little mini podcasts easy for me to do, like leaving a message on an answering machine or something. Maybe it will evolve into something more produced later, but for now, utterz serves the Hero-Cast well. I’ll probably try to do one of those on Tuesday or Thursday or at least once a week. It will auto update here on the blog as well.

- As much as I like the new Xanga layout and customization– And I was tempted to move my main blog BACK there (I started blogging in 2000 there), there is ONE thing I’ve never liked about Xanga that other blogs do much better…. SEARCH!!! It’s easier for me to go back and find specific things I wrote about on the Wordpress engine. Via topic tags, keywords… but when I try to use Xanga’s site search, it doesn’t work at all. There is no search within my blog itself, the only way to go through the 7 years of archives is to jump around with a calendar feature, day by day, or month to month. You would think they would have ironed that out better. I’m still digging the new Xanga though. It’s ALMOST where it needs to be…. The broadcasting feature plugin, allows you to have instant live cams from your webcam really easily. Check out the 24 hour Bobcam there.

- I just realized I have a TON of email to sort today. Haven’t done that in a long time.

- I’m pretty excited about the future for comics publishing on the web and through alternative means. I can really see some great possibilities/opportunities, which i would usually share openly and let other people do first… but this time I’m keeping things close to my own vest. I’ve got bills to pay.

- The little cat keeps bolting across my desk, knocking everything over, the phone stand, etc… it was cute at first, but now it’s pissing me off. I’m gonna be like Fred Flintstone soon and throw his butt out in the cold…. it’s snowing outside, cat!

- Alright… off to work for me. Hi-Ho-Hi-Ho…
