I had posted about Carpenter Jesus last night-- joking that maybe since we fixed this good luck charm, we could get good financial news or a check would come in the mail. In fact, we just realized a check DID come in the mail today– it was from Wowio… not much, but indeed a check came! — Then I was payed for something else via paypal today— So money DID in fact come in

…. then it was promptly all taken away with ad expenditures I forgot I had running Hero By Night Ads on CBR– I thought it was a mistake, but actually I wasn’t billed way back in April, and they were nice enough to actually keep my ad up running for an extra month there– Good people at CBR (Comic Book Resources) — I got in right when they were transitioning to the new CBR layout design, and I guess my ad disappeared off the main page, but was on every page of the site when you actually click on the articles…

I did get a glimmer of good news while I was out at the drive-in via email too.

Damn, maybe there IS something to this Carpenter Jesus thing after all. He remains, head attached, standing guard over our house.
