More racist garbage coming out of Pennsylvania McCain rallies. In this video, these people aren’t being coaxed. Some highlights?
One guy says “I don’t want to sound racist here, but I do not want a black man running my country.”
Good going, genius. I don’t know how that COULDN’T sound racist. And then there’s the old man who says “Bomb Obama!” over and over, and when they ask him what he means, the guy says “get rid of him!” and then says, “if he makes it to the white house?” and then he makes a gun shape and noise with his hand… he covers his ass by saying “strangers tell me this”
My friend is right, it’s not JUST Pennsylvania or Ohio you find these types at the rallies, it’s all over the country. But again, these are the types of COMPLETE RACIST FUCKING MORONS I’ve been dealing with this year here in Southwestern Pennsylvania. I’m almost embarrassed for their level of education, that they STILL think Obama is a terrorist??? One guy says Obama is supporting Kenya??? WTF!? And, if this happened in YOUR TOWN, if you live in Pottstown, PA, shoudln’t someone standup and say, hey, Pottstown doesn’t suppor these type of statements. Because now when I hear “Johnstown” or “Pottstown”, I only think of THESE idiots at McCain rallies. Of course there ARE good people in those areas with brains as well.
WTF, AMERICA!?! It makes you want to bang your head against the wall. Can we please dumb 10 billion dollars into EDUCATION in this country? Please????
The only upside is, when Obama wins Pennsylvania, and the White HOuse, knowing that these idiots will have LOST. But they are parents and grandparents, and it scares me what they’ve taught their kids. It scares me the things i Hear my own kids say they heard at school.
However idealistic it might be, I do have a sense of HOPE that things CAN change. But there is always that FEAR lingering. Especially when you see these videos clearly highlighting the open hatred people have.
Back to the drawing board…
If McCain/Palin “win”, maybe you and your family can claim political asylum in Canada?
That sounds like a good idea to me. But retreat is not an option.
You know, to be fair about it, 48 years ago, people were outright terrified that Kennedy (Catholic, which while not as polarizing as race, was pretty darn polarizing) in the white house would mean that we’d become servants of the Vatican and there’d be an image of our president kneeling down to kiss the Pope’s ring.
And everything turned out fine with Kennedy…
…oh yeah… Shit.
It has never been more obvious than this election cycle…. the American people (generally) are morons.
The one common them among these anti-candidate people is the repeating of talking points they heard on TV or read somewhere. NONE of these people are capable of formulating their own thoughts.
But really… is any of this surprising? We as Americans have given up more rights over the last 8 years than any other people in history. (in time frame) Habeas Corpus… gone…. right to privacy …gone… all in the name of “fighting terror”…
The only reason for this is the idiotic masses.
I want to hear 1… just 1 McCain supporter give me a reason NOT to vote for Obama…. that hasn’t been heard on TV…
Even here in “Liberal” California, My daughter tells me that friends at school have been telling her “Obama lies” She’s in second grade for pity’s sake. At least she’s taking an interest. I’ve explained to her what each of the ballot propositions are about.
Oh yeah, what has the Governator just announced? Two billion dollar cut to education.
My daughter’s school doesn’t even have busses.
