More School Bus Obama threats!?
This is getting troubling to me, another story, this time from IDAHO with kids on a school bus chanting things about Obama. http://www.2news.tv/news/local/34274374.html
We have to do something about the education system in this country. There are obviously WAY too many retarded parents out there.
And update on my situation… I had called the school principal to make a note about what the bus driver here had said, but never got a return call. It figures! — So the guy has ONE more chance before I bring down the thunder.

Originally I was all for you calling up the school and letting this guy deal with the fall-out. There’s no reason any adult should behave like this in front of kids. Then I started thinking, what is the worst case scenario here? What if this guy gets canned and decides he wants some payback? It sounds like he already might not be the most stable mind around. We can’t be held prisoner by worst case scenarios, though.
Is talking to the guy directly an option here? Maybe saying, “Hey, can I talk to you a second away from the kids?” and letting him know what’s up? That’s got some drawbacks too, but unfortunately all of your options do at this point.
Maybe he’s just looking for some way to interact with you guys and picked the worst way to do it and just needs to be told to talk about something else instead (or not at all). I feel for you and hope this ends ok. It’s just one of those dramas parents get to deal with from time to time.
I don’t know how “well-known” the Coffman name is in your neck of the woods. Since you won that contest, many people may read you web stuff now and again. The obvious pro-Obama tone you set, might not set well with many people in your town. Possibly, some of these people will work in the school system and some will be in higher positions. Again, I am not advocating you “shut-up” in anyway. I just wonder if you are getting some grief in an indirect manner. I really wish people would take their gripes to the source, rather than to children who will be confused by it. It’s always silly to gripe to a kid or spouse about someone, they will tend to back their parent or spouse no matter what, it is a useless arguement.
Or, I could be blowing it out of proportion. This driver could just be a moron, with the wit of rock. He just might not like the big sign. BTW, it’s over, take the signs down and let the press display the Obama name everyday to those that don’t like him. Leaving it up might be considered being a “Poor Winner”. (IMHO)
Wow, dude seriously no more “chances” just go down there and set that asshole straight. Better yet, take your kids to wait for the bus and just go up to the bus driver and tell him to shut his fucking trap up. Shit is annoying to have to hear everyday especially when your a kid. It would teach assholes like this a lesson to be so stupid and ignorant when kids are around. and who knows, seeing this idiot get scolded will set some kids straight on how its not nice to say such things and will not be afraid to speak up. dont know dude, i’d say no more chances with this a-hole, set his ass on fire.
